Our Trainer
Alex has worked in racing since
his schooldays, primarily as Head Lad to Charlie Mann, Assistant trainer to Kim
Bailey and from 2000 - 2003 for a very successful period as private trainer for
Mr Andrew Cohen.
In July 2003, Alex was granted his dual purpose licence, since then he has
achieved a lot of success on the racecourse.
As a racehorse trainer of both flat and jump horses, Alex believes he is very
forward thinking in his approach to training, combining some traditional methods
with more modern day techniques.
These methods and an individual approach to each horse means Alex can get the
best out of the horses in his care.
Alex is a firm believer that owning a racehorse, whether as a sole owner or in a
syndicate, should be an enjoyable experience. This means not just on the
racetrack, but also during your horses training programme.
Keeping you, the owner, up to date on your horses programme is an essential part
of the process. Any owner however big or small is always welcome to visit.
